WHEN I FIRST CALLED HER MUMMA

Yesterday i and my mom were having a gala time.Suddenly she got emotional and said, "Life is like a dream. It seems that till yesterday, u were a small baby. and in a blink of an eye u have grown up, and will soon get married and leave us."
Then she was lost in the golden memories of the past, and revealed the time, when I first called her "MOM".

Clad in a pink chakes frock, i was busy crawling on the floor, and suddenly when she appeared in front of me, i just climbed to her, and called her mom in a toddling fashion, said she, with tears in her eyes.

It was a beautiful feeling for me, to relive those moments of my childhood.
LOVE U MOM.

RH FACTOR OF MARRIAGE

Yesterday I got a shocking news about my cousin’s divorce, who got married just two months ago. When I asked the reason from my grandmother, who went at her place to counsel her, she told me that her husband’s inability to produce a baby went against their relation.
On hearing this, the instant thought which came to me was that before finalizing a relation, the parents of both the would-be’ s investigate loads of things, regarding their nature, physical and mental well-being, workplace, addictive habits etc. but, what if either of them is unable to contribute healthily towards reproduction?
Do any of Indian families research or investigate, about RH factor’s presence or absence in blood, or do they even try to research that whether both of them are able to produce a baby or not?
Logic is overpowering emotion so be logical.

LET'S SEE WHAT LIFE UNVEILS TO ME?

Life has once again exposed me to the same turmoil and confusion, which i underwent exactly an year ago. A storm of ambiguity and unpredictiblity has invaded my mind. I am in a total dilemma, what to do, and what not to do?
My course is at the verge of completion. And now i am thinking what to pursue further?
And the thing which is pinching me is what would be the perfect recipe for me to cook?

In this one year of my diploma, i lived each and every moment of my life, and to its total contrast in my graduation, i cursed me every next day, as i was not able to enjoy what i was doing. I was feeling as if my identity has totally lost, my freedom snatched, and me not able to set compatablity between me and my studies.

Now its a tough decision, because i am searching for the line in which my identity emboses and i get engulf so much in my work that i don't even realize what is happening in the outer world. I want to enjoy every moment.
With my continuous efforts lets see what life unveils to me.

MILLS AND BOON VS. REAL LIFE

Mills and boon is the publication house, which mostly engage in the publication of romantic thrillers and rom-coms, which characterize a tall dark handsome prince who comes on a shining white horse, and takes his princess into such a land, which remains a just a fantasy for the common girl.

In the novel not only the ending is happy but throughout the romantic journey the actor and actress engage into such a hailing and hearty relationship, that transcends the readers( especially females) into another world of imagination, which gives birth to lot of expectations, that their real life should also be the same, but this is not always true in real life.

The publication house is accused of the culprit of increased number of divorces. And relationship break-up in the west. Everyone wants to be loved and protected, but these love novels increase the expectations of women far from par, portraying the hero in the novel to fulfill all the expectations of his lover in varying ways, ranging from coming back homes with flowers and chocolates to displaying is love all the time in-front of the lady or being courteous at times when he should not be.

But the bitter truth is that it is not always true.

Today the female has become smart enough to decide that hat is wrong and what is right, and what is fact and what is just fiction, therefore women awareness and consciousness must be created regarding the difference between fantasy and fact.

"Dama Dam Mast Qalandar" most popular Qawwali, By: Runa Laila (With Lyr...

Ho….. lal meri pat rakhiyo bhala jhulelalan,
Sindri daa, sewan daa, shakishah baaz kalandar,
Damadam mast kalandarr,
Ali da pehla number,
Ho, lal meri……..
Ho lal meri…

This is one of the world renowned number from Sufi collections.

This song is in the honor of Sufi mystic 'Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar'. Every word of his name has a meaning - he was known as Hazrat ( prophet of GOD ), Lal ( he wore red robes or mothers fondly call their kids as Lal ), Shahbaz ( Shah - King and Baz - Falcon, king of falcons and an Iranian GOD who led them to victory, a divine spirit ), and finally Qalandar ( a qalandari - a sufi saint, poet, mystic, noble man ). He settled in Serwan ( Sindh, now in Pak ) and tried bringing peace between Hindus and Muslims. Hindus regard him as GOD and reincarnate as well. You can hear many Punjabi singers, singing in his praise. He is also fondly called as Jhulelal.

The meaning of this sufi song is:

O laal meri pat rakhio bala jhoole laalan, Sindri da Sehvan da, sakhi Shabaaz kalandar, Dama dam mast kalandar, Ali dam dam de andar.

Always render your merciful blessings to my life, and be with me at every moment. Oh you resider of Sindh and sewan, you reside in every human being.( as the supreme master of his soul).

Chaar charaag tere baran hamesha, Panjwa mein baaran aayi bala jhoole laalan
O panjwa mein baaran, O panjwa mein baaran aayi bala jhoole laalan, Sindri da Sehvan da, sakhi Shabaaz Qalandar, Dama dam mast Qalandar, Ali dam dam de andar

(Your shrine is always lighted with four lamps, And here I come to light a fifth lamp in your honor )

Hind Sind ( some also sing Ghanan ghanan ) peera teri naubat vaaje, Naal vaje ghadiyaal bala jhoole laalan, O naal vaje, O naal vaje ghadiyaal bala jhoole laalan

(Let your heroic name ring out in Hind & Sindh, Let the gong ring loud for your glory day and night by the people ( ghariyal - watchman, symbolism of night )

Har dam peera teri khair hove, Naam-e-ali beda paar laga jhoole laalan, O naam-e-ali, O naam-e-ali beda paar laga jhoole laalan, Sindri da sehvan da sakhi Shabaaz Qalandar, Dama dam mast Qalandar, Ali dam dam de andar

( O Lord, may you prevail every-time, everywhere, I pray of our well being, In the name of Ali, I pray to you to help my boat cross (the river of life) in safety).

Some of the known names who have lent their voice to this - Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, Madam Noor Jehan, Wadali Brothers, Reshma, Sabri Brothers, Jagjit Singh, Runa Laila, Lata Mangeshkar, etc.

This song rejuvenates peace in heart and soul. Though sung with rocking playback support, still it is something which penetrates deep down into the soul of human body, and listeners get so deeply immersed in its charisma that it not only makes them forget all their pains, but also provides them with such magical mental abilities that they become intelligent enough to solve the puzzle of life either by bearing the pain with a smile on their face or by finding the solution of the same.

May God bless every person on this earth. Amen.

KYUNKI KAAM KO KABHIE KAAM NAHI SAMJHA

Manzil dikh rahi hai apne saamne. Ankhon mein saja hua hai uska eke k manzar. Or sirf sapne dekhne ki aadaat nahi, samjha hai raaho k swabhaav ko, or fir taya kiya hai, ki kaunsi raah chunni hai, suna hai mushkilon k bare me or tab dhundha hai apne andar unka solution. Tab jaake decide kiya hai ki journalism karna hai.

Par ek mushkil hai. Chalne ka mann hai or chalna aata bhi hai par raahon ka kuch pata nahi. Koi raah dikh hi nahi rahi hai.

Aap soch rahe honge ki mujhe darr lag raha hoga, ek anjanepann ka darr. Ek question mark hoga mann mein is baat ko lekar ki aage kya hoga?
To you are right. Question mark to hai, par confidence bhi hai, or confidence is baat ka hai ki jo bhi hoga bhut achcha hoga.

Ek baat jo dil se nikal rahi hai wo ye ki:

RAAHON PE CHAL JAAU,
OR PATA BHI NA CHALE.
JAB MANZIL PE PAHUNCH JAU,
TAB AANKHEIN KHULEN.
PEECHEE MUD K DEKHU TO EHSAAS HO,
KI EK LAMBA RAASTA TAYA KIYA,
FLASH BACK MEIN JAAU TO PATA CHALE,
KI JEE TO MENE RAAH KA EK EK MANZAR LIYA.
YE SAB HOGA FUTURE MEIN,
OR TAB AAYEGA EK QUESTION MIND MEIN,
KI ITNI MEHNAT KI,
KAANTE BHI THE RAAHON MEIN,
PHIR BHI RAAHEIN ITNI AASANI SE KESE KATIN,
PATA KYU NA CHALA?
US QUESTION KA ANSWER ABHI MERE PAAS HAI,
OR CHAHTI HU,
KI ISI ANSWER KO LEKE KAR JAAU,
APNI HAR SAFAR TAYA.
JAWAB MEIN HAI YE FUNDA,
KI KAAM KO KABHI KAAM NAHI SAMJHA.
KI KAAM KO KABHI KAAM NAHI SAMJHAA.

YEH IMAGE KA SAWAL HAI

"The way you look directly affects, the way you think, the way you feel, the way you speak, the way you act or behave, and then the way others react or respond to you"– Judith Rasband

People form their opinion of a stranger within 3 seconds of setting their eyes on the person. Further, research has proven that a major part of the message that you communicate is visual. Given these facts, the image you project is the strong force that influences people’s perception.
Image Management is the ongoing, pro-active process of evaluating and controlling the impact of your appearance on you, on others, and the achievement of your goals. It is a science and an art that provides a framework, addressing all the elements – clothing, grooming practices, body language and etiquette and vocal communication – that help create the right image for each role that a person undertakes at different occasions.
Given that each person is unique, image management takes into account the person’s personal style, enhances strengths and downplays weaknesses while making optimal use of resources.

CHAHIYE SAB KUCH YA KUCH NAHI

Hey manmaani manmaani
Manmaani manmani re
 Meri aankhon mein sulagte hain
Kitne sooraj ke sholay
Kaaynat kar mutthi mein
Jalti ye saansein bole
Kuchh nahin kuchh
Kya hai zyaada
Zyaada se dil ye bhare na
Chaand tu rakh, Baant taare
Lele tu kishton mein duniya
Chaahiye sab kuchh ya kuchh nahin
Chaahiye sab kuchh ya kuchh nahin
Hey manmaani manmaani
Manmaani manmaani …………..
THIS IS THE THEME SONG OF ROADIES 9. COMPOSED BY THE AGNEE GROUP, AND SUNG BY AGNEE, RAGHU.  IT  TOTALLY DEPICTS THE ATTITUDE, ZEAL AND DETERMINATION OF ROADIES.  ITS LYRICS ARE COMPLETELY ZEALOUS WHICH WHEN HEARING INSPIRES A PERSON TO MOVE TOWARDS THEIR GOAL WITH FULL DETERMINATION AND OPTIMISM, RENEWING IT EVERYTIME WE LEND IT AN EAR. THE BACKGROUND MUSIC IS SO FILLED WITH ENERGY THAT IT REJUVENATES LIFE INTO YOUR DREAMS.

HEAR THE OTHER BEATS AS WELL…………….

Life is a song, comprising not only of lyrics, sung in the tempting voice of the singer, but also ingridiences the other beats and rhythm given by the musical tools. Often when we hear a song, we are so deeply  immersed in the sensational voice of  the singer, ignoring the presence of other elements and beats in the song, which act very strongly to make the composition a complete therapy.
Life is also like the musical composition composed by the director of our life, The God Almighty.  Apart from rendering the beautiful voice to our life, in the form of our daily life events, he complements it with various other beats and rhythms, which make every moment complete in itself.
But we as consumers of those moments, only focus on the mainstream of our life, being happy or sad with the alternate wave of the on-goings. In this huzzle we often MISS THE OTHER BEATS OF OUR LIFE, assuming them to be least important to gather our attention.

When the focus is shifted from  the main ongoing,  especially at time when we feel uncomfortable with the happenings, we will find that whatever is going on it is adding to the perfection of  our “exclusive life composition”.

THOUGHT POLLUTION

Thoughts are the very basis of inception of mankind.

It is very well said that, "As he thinks in his heart, so is he". This saying portrays the crucial nature of thoughts in our life. They are the foundation on which the real life events stand.
This tells us how important role optimism plays in our life.

As the word itself suggests, thought pollution, is not the recent matter, it has its roots in the times of Godly existence on earth. When HE used to be angry while encountering evil, and causing war to protect his believers.

But today, as the life is becoming complex day by day, it's leading to nothing, except mental tensions, frustations, suicides etc., giving an example of thought pollution.
After all, "thought is the seed for every action".

A study shows that over 1 lakh people die by suicides in India, every year. India alone, contributes to more than 10% suicides in the world. The suicide rate in India has been increasing steadily, and has reached 10.5(per 1 lac of population) in 2006, registering a 67% increase over the value of 1980.

In order to curb the waste thinking of people, many spiritual as well as non-spiritual organizations have come up, with the courses like thought pattern management, meditation and yoga, through which they tend to sort out the deep routed problems of mankind, through self-counselling and self-medication processes, so that every person is internally calm and satisfied, which has a reflection of happiness, externally.

"A happy world resides there,
where people have pure thoughts,
where there is no greed, jealousy or anger,
There love, joy and freedom rocks."

SMILE

It was around 10 o’clock. I had just woke up.
I had just entered the room in a very dizzy mood, when my eyes caught the attention of the one of my room-mates, “my table calendar”. It changed its attire only once in a month. And today was the day for him to change.
I enthusiastically went to it and swiftly turned it’s leaflet. Before I could view the picture, my eyes read- “SMILE, AND I’LL MAKE YOU A SUPERSTAR FOREVER”
Then my eyes moved up, though black and white but the view was really meaningful. It was a “camera”.

A great smile invaded my lips, and it seemed, as if the message had come directly, through the divine way, to make ME a superstar

CHANGING DIMENSION OF INDIAN MUSIC AND ITS IMPACT

“Music is the healing balm for every soul”

A very true statement, by an unknown person. Music is something which shakes the strings of the heart and the body and provides a healing touch to the wounded heart.

But, as we all know that change is the spice of life. So is true with Music. In the Indian film industry, music plays a very great role. Movies get hit even if they have a very common story, but a very appealing music. It is evolving in its widest forms these days. Ranging from “Munni Badnaam, Sheila ki jawani, Anarkali Disco chali”, to great compositions of A.R. Rehmaan, which not only are nominated for Oscar, but also bag it.

Now the question which arises is, that, What kind impact this vulgarity in music is leaving on the citizens of India?
India is a nation where 60% of its population is youth, a forebearer of the country’s future. Its ok on the part of Bollywood, that it defends itself by saying that they only provide what the people want. But, are we not socially responsible for our country, in terms that small children are exposed to such ambiguous forms of music, which leaves a great impact on their mental faculties?

REVIEW OF THE MOVIE- LONDON PARIS NEW-YORK

London Paris New-york (LPNY) is another addition to the list of romantic-adventurous movies shot at the beautiful locations of London Paris and New-york. Starring the Pakistani singer Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari, it is a story about a boy and a girl who meet at London airport, and hang out together for a day, ending it by falling in love with each other. After that they meet each other two years later in Paris, again spending the entire day together, and ending it on an aggressive note, being furious about their misunderstandings and depart without any plan to meet in future. But through the efforts of Nikhil (Ali Zafar), he meets Lalitha (Aditi Rao) once again at New-york, finally all their previous disputes.

It has a fresh subject though the presentation of the sequences is not much effective lacking the linking factor among each other. The music direction is accredited to Ali Zafar, he being the singer as well as the lyricist.

Ali with his alluring looks is good at acting, whereas Aditi has not not been able to prove her acting skills.
With his third Bollywood release, Ali has a great potential to explore, and imply.

Overall it is a fresh story among the stereotypes which released at the same time naming “Ek Deewana tha” and “Ek main or ek tu”.

CHANGING ADVERTISING TRENDS

Creativity is the best weapon to win competition.”

This is true now and always. The same mantra is applied or rather adopted by companies to conquer their competitors and increasing their market share. This can be seen in the field of advertising also, where the advertising companies are coming up with new and innovative ideas to mark an upward trend in the sales graph of their clients.

Using celebrities for endorsements, has now become an old technique. The companies are now adopting the “slice of life” technique to attract customers. Here the advertisement tries to show such part of a common man’s life, which is easy to digest by the viewers, and makes itself recognized as a part of their life.

The new Samsung mobile ad in which a young girl and a boy fight for a resolution to get passed, is one such ad which is very much welcomed by youngsters. On the other hand, the new ad of idea 3G in which a boy uploads an incident on the you-tube on the basis of which the culprit gets the punishment, is such a creative piece of work which shows the hard reality of Indian crime scene.

Through these ads the companies intend not only to increase the sales but also to improve their image in the market.
So in this way the Indian advertising scenario is changing.

ANIMATION MANTRA

With changing times and rise of technological era, animation has acquired an upper hand in every field. Be it a classroom teaching, advertising or demonstration etc. it works in every field.

Animation is the rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions to create an illusion of movement. The effect is an optical illusion of motion due to the phenomenon of persistence of vision, and can be created and demonstrated in several ways. The most common method of presenting animation is as a motion picture or video program, although there are other methods.

Our surroundings are with numerous examples of animations. ZOOZOOS of VODAFONE is a classy example of this. Apart from this the 9XM characters, ranging from characters of “Bakwaas Bandh Kar” to “Bheegi Billi” etc. all have great craze among all age groups from a child, a youth to an oldie.

By this we all can name the current time as “Animation Age”.

HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY

Maa ki dua khali nhi jati,
Uski baddua taali nhi jati,
Bartan maanj kr bhi maa 3-4 bache paal leti h,
Lekin dulhan ane k baad 3-4 beto se 1maa paali nhi jati.
..EVRY MOM IS SPECIAL... HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY

Thursday, 8th March 2012. It’s International Women’s Day.
A great day, which is celebrated for the empowerment of Women all over the world and to improve their condition, especially in the developing countries, where the societies are still male dominated. And on the other hand a baby girl is killed inside the womb only, because parents think that they cannot prove to be a working hand for the family and on top of that, the parents would need to spend their lifetime savings in giving the dowry to the girl, at the time of her marriage. How pitiful is that……..In todays information age
Where man has reached the moon, some people still think that a girl is a curse to their family. How can these people forget the names like Smt. Indira Gandhi, Kalpana Chawla, Mrs. Pratibha Patel, and a lot more alike personalities. These are the ones who not only excelled in their fields, but also led the nation to the zenith.

Mrs. Sonia Sharma, a housewife, Agra, proudly declares that she is a woman and playing a great role in the betterment of the nation by giving her children, great values and a positive support to add to the bright future of India.

Sanchi Gupta, a software engineer commented, “Today women are no less than men in any field, be it as prestigious as a managing direction of some high profile company or be it a job of a mere auto-driver”.

Such is the strength and determination of women today, that from being a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister a friend, they can expand their roles to be a CEO of a company, a tourist guide, a doctor and lot more.

SO RESPECT WOMEN AND THEIR EXISTENCE.

COMMERCIALIZATION OF FESTIVALS

Fairs and Festivals are like the ornaments on the soul of India. A vast range of fairs and festivals are celebrated here, ranging from those of national eves, to those of cultural eves like Holi, Diwali, Eid, Rakshabandhan, and many more, without any differentiation of caste, creed, sex, race, etc.

With the changing times, these festivals are also changing in terms of the ways they are celebrated and the values which they hold. Though the basic legendary story behind the celebration of any such eve remains the same but the generation gap can very well be noticed over here. Oldies still stuck to the traditional ways of the celebration whereas, the youth blends liveliness to the event along with their innovative ideas of having unlimited fun.

One more aspect of such events which is very common nowadays is the “commercialization of these events”.
The advertisement industry mould their advertising message in terms of the upcoming event and in this way they try to be an integral part of people’s life, by showing that they also don’t lag behind in celebrating such fiestas.

For ex. On this holi, the tagline of Fanta went like this, “Holi k rang, Fanta k sang.”

Not only this, the celebrities, in order to endorse or promote their upcoming movie, go and mingle with common people, in their celebrations so that the movie can get a good feedback.

Recently Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao, the stars of “London Paris Newyork” were seen playing Holi with the stars of the small screen to promote their film.

This commercialization gets mixed views from public.

Shweta Srivastava, a student thinks that, “We live in an advertisement age so there is nothing bad in this kind of commercialization.”

Whereas, Ravi Kumar a shopkeeper has a view that, “Festivals are sacred, and hold a very valued position, as they are a symbol of one’s culture so they must not be made commercialized like this.”

This is the new commercial of Coca-cola which is launched a month later, and penned down by Prasoon Joshi, chairman of Mccann Erickson Worldgroup India. It has a beautiful tagline viz. Believe in a happuier tomorrow. It gives a beautiful message that is always greater than hopelessness.
